I'm Dr. Brian Dinkins
I'm an Indianapolis native, raised by a single mother and a product of public-school education. I graduated high school with a 1.9 GPA but with the incredible support of Indianapolis Public School teachers, coaches, and mentors, I went on to earn a B.A. from Purdue University, two master's degrees, Ed.S, and doctorate in educational leadership.
I am only one example of the power of transformative adults potential impact on a child's life. My dissertation research has has framed and laid the foundation to the work that we do at CEE around emotional intelligence of teachers, and the impact on the discipline outcomes of African-American male students in urban schools. I cannot wait to work with you and your school team to build empowered champions for students!
